TÚNEL DE LAVADO

Marking the directorial debut of Lucas Sogas, Túnel de Lavado is a tense, emotionally charged short film following two secret lovers within a local football team. A stolen, intimate encounter inside a car wash becomes a turning point where desire, internal conflict and melodrama collide, exposing the raw wounds of internalized homophobia and the constant fear of discovery. I was brought on to capture the still photography and direct the visual identity for the project's key art.

The Approach

Collaborating with the talented designer Maria Muñoz, we developed a dual typographic system for the film's title. We created two variations: a glowing, neon-infused wordmark that mimics the ambient signage of the car wash and a clean, flat alternative for secondary promotional materials. To reflect the isolation and secrecy driving the narrative, we designed a multi-poster campaign. This allowed us to showcase the main characters navigating different layers of their reality, contrasting their private intimacy against the suffocating presence of their social environment.
